K-drama star Jung Kyung-ho recently melted hearts with his honest and emotional words about his 12-year relationship with Girls’ Generation’s Choi Sooyoung.

In an interview with a local media outlet, Jung was asked what he considers the pillar of his life outside of acting. Without hesitation, he replied, “It’s such an obvious answer, but the center of my life beyond acting is Choi Sooyoung.”
He continued with a heartfelt smile, “To be honest, I think I might be acting because of her. I want to show her that I’m a good person, a good actor. Her happiness is what makes me the happiest. We’ve been together for a long time and see each other the most. We’ve lasted this long thanks to her patience. I used to mess up a lot… like drinking too much, though not anymore!” he laughed, expressing deep gratitude.
When asked about the importance of having a life partner, Jung said, “It’s meaningful because we’ve shared the same dream of becoming great actors since the beginning.”
